Italian wines are well-known for their versatility at the dining table, but this Sangiovese really brings the bacon! Garnet in the glass, the aromas of roasted pork with nutmeg, maple syrup, and raspberry prepare your palate for the experience ahead. On the tongue, pomegranate, bright red fruit, and velvety mouthfeel, with a pop of nutty flavors in the middle, transition to a long finish of home-smoked ribs coated with grade-A Canadian maple syrup and nutmeg. This wine begs to be paired with roasted, spiced pork belly.
