2016 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon "Outstanding II" 3L
Our 2016 Alexander Valley Cabernet “Outstanding” in our 750ml bottles is a beautiful wine. The original "Outstanding" were in French Oak for 4 years, and, in several wine competitions. We bottled that wine in 2020. In 2021, we magically found 2 more barrels of this wine. So, we put the wine into Double Magnums (3L). When doing a side by side tasting of the original and the new one, "Outstanding II” is a little further along in the aging process, with it's profile generally reflecting what Outstanding will be in about 5 years.
